Well, we now have a floor and a table and a CD/DVD rack. It actually looks very good.  I am going to put up curtains today for that soft touch and we get our bed on Saturday!  It's starting to all come together.  This past weekend was our first weekend with Morgan in the apartment.  We don't have a room for her just yet, we are planning on turning the living room into her "space" when she comes but we weren't prepared for this weekend.  She flipped out on Saturday.  She kept saying that it's not a house and she misses mommy.  I know it's a big adjustment for her but Jeff and I felt like such failers.  I finally got the idea to put up her winne the pooh playhouse and put her Helllo Kitty air mattress in it to make her own "room".  She seemed to be a bit more comfortable with that.  It'll be slow going but I think we will make everything work.  I just can't wait till we can afford a two bedroom for her.  It'll be ok, Jeff and I are majorly stressed right now (it's a lot happening really fast) but once things slow down I think we will be just fine.  Here's to all of you in hopes that this finds in good spirits and good health.

Jeff and I are FINALLY in our apartment together.  There is just one problem, we can't find it cuz it is buried under tons of stuff.  When we first got there, most of the stuff was put in the family room and only a few things were put in our bedroom.  So the first night we organized the bedroom and it was easy, didn't take a lot of time.  Well, last night we tried to tackle the living room.  I think we just shifted everything into our bedroom, so now you can't walk anywhere in the bedroom!  It's maddening!  How does two people as young as we are accumulate so much stuff!  Tonight Jeff is gonna drop me off before he gets Morgan and I am going to just play Gestapo and clear everything out.  Don't worry I'll keep "some" of Jeff's stuff *wink*. I want to have the kitchen and the living room and bedroom somewhat organized by the time he comes back (oh and I want world peace, my own Island, and HGTV's dream home) so hopefully Broomhilda will have broken her back and Ashley takes forever cleaning, cuz I'm gonna need a lot of time.   I'm gonna do laundry on Tuesday.  I LOVE laundry days.  I always wait to do my laundry on a day that I don't have to work or do anything, then I spend the whole day by myself cleaning, listening to music, relaxing with a mud mask on, doing laundry and eating chocolate.  It's a tradition that I started when I was living in the dorms and it's my favorite ritual ever! So, the apartment will look good soon, I can't wait till we have furniture, picnics on the living room floor are gonna get old after a while.

Christmas this year was amazing.  It was the best Christmas ever!  And it wasnt' good because of getting everything I wanted.  It was mine and Jeff's first Christmas together and shopping for other people was the most fun.  All of our presents had both of our names on it.I really felt like we were a team and a couple.  Shopping for Morgan was the most fun.  I was picking out all these girl toys while Jeff got her all these boy toys.  (Don't worry honey, just give me a boy and you can spoil them with every toy race car you can find)  I made out really good this year.  For my birthday i got a diamond necklace (which was wonderful, but unnessesary, since he didn't need to do any more work to try to keep me, but I'm glad to take it anyway ; )    He also got me this beautiful ring for Christmas and a first Christmas together keepsake ornament.  It was really sweet.  Lisa gave me a family tree album, so as our family grows I can add names to it.  I was so touched that I couldn't help but cry. (It was my first Easterling crying present)   My mother, a very practicle woman, gave me a sewing machine and a bag full of sewing stuff to get me started.  I was extatic.  I told everyone in the family to give me their torn cloths so I can practice.  I also got Morgan a baby doll (sort of like the one I had when I was a little girl) whom she named Emily, so I want to make matching outfits for her and Emily to wear.  It was a wonderful year, everything went so well.  I was even surprised at Jeffs ex-wife, Ashley,  who gave us a gift card to linens and things for our new apartment.  She has just been very considerate and thoughtful about everything.

17 DAYS till move in!

ITS MY 21ST BIRTHDAY TODAY!!!

Now i can finally rent a hotel room by myself, oh yeah and that drinking thing.  It is also mine and FFej's 5th month anniversary!  It's just a big day.  I am so thankful to god for bringing that man into my life.  He is the best thing to have ever happened to me.  We only have three weeks to go till we move intogether!!  Can't wait! Christmas is going to be so awesome, Jeff's presents aren't anything really big, i just know he will like them.  I was thinking about making him a spice rack.  (just kidding honey)  Well i've got to go and do a show, but heres to new exciting things comeing up and may everyone have a wonderful christmas and a great new year!
